This was my first experience with a check engine light. At check in, I was informed my warranty had expired based on milage. When asked if I had an extended warranty, I said yes, but no proof on me. Kyle had me sign the promise to pay for the inspection, and it would be null once I brought in sufficient proof. That evening, I read the check engine light was an anomaly, and nothing was wrong with my car. Next day when I picked up my car, I requested the dealership honor my extended warranty as expected and was told no. I asked for the service manager to wave the inspection, and was informed GM did not warrant the issue, so I had to pay the fee. So, I did. I complained that I only brought the car in because of the light, and it was poor customer service and poor reflection on Buick for what would be a long-time relationship as we just moved here.
